Stacey’s whimsical illustrations are mostly crafted using watercolor, collage, pencil and ink. Cultivating her creativity brings life and joy to her soul, in all its mess and wonder. Her art studio overlooks cattle grazing land and the river that runs through her homestead in Central Queensland. She can be often found, coffee in hand, scribbling stories and ideas out in the midst of the moments of everyday life.

Stacey homeschools her 4 children in their 120 year old schoolhouse, turned home, and runs art workshops for children and mamas. Previously having lived in California USA and Melbourne, she started creating picture books at the age of 10. She loves all things vintage and has a questionably large collection of miniature houses. plants and old vintage children’s books and classics.
