Stacey loves creating scenes and characters in all their wonder and whimsy. Her illustrations are a blend of watercolor, pencil, ink, collage and digital.

Stacey’s creative heart captures the precious moments from the midst of motherhood, the simplicity of childhood, life on the homestead and those nights spent as a neonatal nurse the Special Care Nursery.

She hosts illustration workshops at her studio, nestled in the heart of Central Queensland. Previously having lived in California USA, Melbourne and Rural Victoria, she started creating picture books at the age of ten.

She loves all things vintage and has a questionably large collection old clothbound children’s books and classics.
